Hello Mabs
I've noticed my steering wheel isn't straight anymore, even though the car still drives. A friend says it's wheel alignment, another says I should ignore it. Is it something that really needs attention?

Your car is trying to tell you something, and it's worth listening. If your steering wheel sits crooked while you're driving straight, or your vehicle pulls to one side, it's often a sign that the wheel alignment needs checking. Hitting potholes or kerbs can gradually knock the alignment out.
Driving like this for too long can wear your tyres unevenly, increase fuel consumption and affect how the vehicle handles, especially during emergency braking.
The good news is that wheel alignment is usually a straightforward maintenance job when caught early. Think of it as protecting both your tyres and your wallet. Small corrections today often prevent much bigger expenses tomorrow.
