Three years ago, Xploreza set a simple intention: to bring together a small group of people we had met along our journey, invite them to break bread, and create space for meaningful connection before the year gathered pace. The Table of Influence was born from that idea, a relaxed late-January gathering rooted in gratitude, conversation and recognising the personal and professional influence of those around the table, across lifestyle, motoring, travel and agriculture.
The first edition welcomed just 14 guests at the Mabuza farmhouse, with the unforgettable Chef Xoliswa Ndoyiya, Madiba’s personal chef for 22 years, at the heart of the experience. Her warm storytelling and beautifully prepared meal set the tone, leaving everyone inspired and deeply moved.
In 2025, the circle grew to 24 guests and moved into a garden marquee, where laughter flowed, ideas were exchanged, and Chef Xoliswa once again captivated the room with her grace and powerful reflections.
This year, the Table of Influence evolved again. Hosted at the serene 57 Stighligh Road in Rivonia, a hidden gem where time seems to slow down, the gathering expanded to more than 40 guests from diverse industries. Surrounded by nature, beautiful décor and golden afternoon light, guests were invited to pause, connect and reflect in a setting designed for both comfort and conversation.
It became an afternoon of food for thought, intentional dialogue and genuine connection. Our speakers shared openly, guests engaged deeply, and Chef Xoliswa delivered another sumptuous experience that nourished both body and spirit. Sponsors joined us in making the day special, while smiling faces, fashion moments and thoughtful exchanges filled every corner of the garden.
What began as a modest lunch has organically grown into a space for serious conversations, creative ideas and unexpected collaborations, all under the Xploreza umbrella. We did not anticipate how meaningful this gathering would become, but we are grateful for its evolution.
