Mazda Southern Africa has beefed up its management team with the appointment of two formidable women force in Claudia Walters and Bonite Van Der Merwe. Walters joins as the company’s Head of Marketing and Communications while Van Der Merwe takes up the role of Head of Finance & Corporate Affairs.
Claudia brings a wealth of Marketing and Communications experience gained from more than 18-years in the automotive industry. Claudia’s background focuses extensively on areas such as Brand Strategy, PR, Advertising, Digital and Traditional Marketing as well as the CRM field.
Bonite, a Chartered accountant, having joined MSA when the company started independent operations in 2014, played a key role during the initial business establishment and setup of MSA’s financial systems. Bonite’s contribution to Mazda SA’s business processes as Finance Manager at MSA over the past 2 years provide her with the ideal platform to succeed Keith Scholtz, former Head of Finance & Corporate Affairs who has returned to Mazda Australia.
The two new executives join Mazda Southern Africa’s senior management team effective 1 February 2019.
